My Space

With Peggi's help, again, I did the basic set up of a My Space page. I find all the advertising on the site to be a total turn-off, I hate advertising and try to avoid it at all costs. Which isn't easy these days...

But I must say this whole process of doing the 27 Things has been so much fun. I can just feel my brain expanding with all this new knowledge. It is so great to be able to learn so much for free and at work!

RSS Feeds

RSS Feeds was somewhat difficult for me. Luckily my friend Peggi helped me out again! I'm not sure how much I'll use an RSS feed, I have subscribed to various newsletters before and often ended up not having time to read them. This whole process has been so much fun, it is great to stretch my brain and expand my horizons. I really love looking at other staff members blogs, so many of them are really great. It has been fun working with other staff members, as we all go through this together.

Tomorrow it is on to My Space. Can't wait.

Flickr

Flickr was pretty easy to figure out, however, my pictures disappeared and I had to re-load them all. Then I made a couple sets which also disappeared when I tried to delete the original photos from my photo collection. (Because photos taken around the Bellevue Library just don't go with my mountain photos.)

Hmm, somehow I deleted this photo from my blog. Luckily I was able to find it again to repost. There are still a few unphotographed pages...must track them all down.

Moving right along at a snail's pace

Peggi helped me change the look of my blog, and I'm much happier with the new look. Thanks, Peggi, you have such good taste.

I'm three weeks behind in Learning 2.0 as of today, and am just now trying to figure out the Flikr stuff. I uploaded some of my favorite pictures I've taken in the mountains, so now must figure out how to hook them up to my blog. From all the other KCLS blogger postings it sounds a bit intimidating, hope I can figure it out.

It's been ten days since I had a chance to look at my blog! After spending some time uploading photos onto the blog itself, I'm now going to learn how to use Flikr so I can have a link to photos. After looking at some of the other oh-so-cool blogs, like Mary Kay's, Matt's and Peggi's I want to spend some time changing the "look" of my blog as well.
